9th place

Day 2 of the Tournament:

We had a play off game against UCF. This win officially put us in the Gold bracket.

Our first match was against UCSB. We killed them in two. It was a great game, everyone was on and we were playing top volleyball. It was HOT.

Our second match was against Marquette. We didn't do as well. We lost in two, but still got 2nd in our pool.

Day 3 of the Tournament:

We played against our rival U of A. I honestly have no harsh feeling toward U of A. I don't like U of U. I'm still in BYU mode. But we started out strong. We beat them the first set. In the second set we had a lead of about 8 points, then we fell apart. We ended up losing the second and third set. Which lost us the game and knocked us out of the tournament. We tied for 9th place. It just would have been better if we lost to another team besides U of A.

We watched the women's and men's championship games. The women's winner was Wisconsin and the men's winner was Notre Dame. Notre Dame had an amazing libro, ran the show.

I have to say watching drunk team mates is not very fun. One of my team mates partied too hard and fell while trying to go down the stairs of the stadium. We had to take/ carry her to the bathroom to throw up and back to the hotel room. Thank you for proving once again why alcohol is not attractive.
